Many insurance companies require 3-6 months of nutrition visits prior to surgery. Appointments before surgery will ensure you have an excellent understanding of bariatric diet guidelines & stages, vitamin recommendations, and expected weight loss. Post- operative appointments assure healthy weight loss and prevention of weight regain.
